The Chargers annihilated another opponent winning their 10th straight game while locking up the #2 seed in the AFC and a 1st round playoff bye.
This game was never close. After the Titans put up the 1st points of the game on a FG, San Diego put up 21 unanswered points of their own on their way to a dominating 42-17 win on the road against a team that was fighting for their own playoff spot.
This has got to be the most dominant Charger team heading into the post-season. After their slow 2-3 start, no team has been able to stop their potent offensive attack. They just have too many weapons for any team to contend with. V-Jack covered? look for Malcom Floyd. Floyd covered? get it to Gates. Gates covered, throw a short screen to Sproles. You get the idea.
Their defense has not received much credit but they haven’t given up many big plays. Cromartie and Jammer are taking care of business downfield. Weddle is a magnet to the football and Shaun Phillips is forcing turnovers while leading the team in sacks.
SD’s Special Teams have also been doing an incredible job. Is their anyone out there better than Kaeding or Scifres and Osgood is headed to another pro bowl.
Norv Turner and Ron Rivera have turned this team into a dominant force in the NFL. This is the most complete team I’ve seen from SD.
Our 2010 post-season tickets arrived Christmas Eve. Anything less than a SB will be a tremendous letdown.
